So I've been seeing Bob daily, he continues to be quite lethargic and sleepy with brief episodes of being awake, cognizant with simple responses and nods of understanding and recognition. His general medical condition remains in limbo and his labs have improved and the infections have somewhat resolved in response to the antibiotic cocktail. Thus he is stable, is just again starting to have little sips of liquid, he continues on 1:1 nursing and requires total assistance, contact precautions, has peritoneal tube feeding and is doing "range of motion" physical therapy.
